About

I grew up in a family that was never short on words. We’re talkers.

More importantly we’re story tellers. Many times our gatherings are loud and filled with laughter as we all vie for center stage so we can tell our version of what REALLY happened. Well now I’ve got THE STAGE all to myself and what I say here IS the final word… cause I’m keeping my password a secret.

My name is Ellen Peterson and this is my attempt to set the story straight… or start a rumor… or expose my convoluted thinking process.

Some things just can’t be explained.

  3. I’m devoting some time today to thank some of my followers at “A Way With Words.” You’ve been with me for some time. I find great joy in writing and my joy is made more complete when people read what I’ve written. While I write primarily about faith & mental illness, I am always looking for new topics to address. If you have anything you’d like to see, please let me know.

I pray you are blessed in your life and writing, Ellen.

    Gratefully,
    Tony Roberts

  4. Ellen, I hope this finds you doing well.

Can you believe it’s been almost three years since we were first met through our blogs. It’s been nice to read your work and discover some about your life through Facebook.

As you may know, I am retooling and refueling my “A Way With Words” to become the website “Delight in Disorder: Faith & Mental Illness” (delightindisorder.org). I hope you will join me there. On the left sidebar, there is a box (below “Get More Delight”) for subscriptions so you can get the most of our mission.

    Take care & God bless,
    Tony

I'd love to hear from you...
